About the Event
IEEE Singapore Festival 2022
This year, we celebrate the 13th annual IEEE Day across the globe on 4 October. In the spirit of IEEE Day 2022, we are delighted to host the “IEEE Singapore Festival 2022”. Beginning on 4 October, the month-long festival will include a series of technical and professional talks, networking sessions, and fun social contests.
This festival is jointly organised by the IEEE Women in Engineering Singapore and IEEE Young Professionals Singapore affinity groups.

Dr. Dewi Liliana
Subcommittee Member, IEEE R10 Women in Engineering
Dewi graduated from Doctoral School of Computer Science, University of Indonesia. Her specialization is in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision. She is now working as a lecturer in the Jakarta State Polytechnic, Indonesia. Also, Vice Director of Cooperation at her working place. Actively becoming a volunteer since 2018, she is a member of the IEEE WIE Indonesia and the Executive Committee of the IEEE Indonesia Section. Currently, she is also actively involved as Executive Committee in IEEE WIE R10. For her, volunteer activities are useful in providing relationships and networks for exchanging ideas and personal development.
Mr. Arun M.
Chair, IEEE Young Professionals Madras
M.Arun has obtained his B.E. degree in ECE from Jerusalem College of Engineering and M.E. in Applied Electronics from College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University. He is working as Assistant Professor in ECE, Panimalar Institute of Technology. He is serving as Chairman, IEEE Madras Young professional & Vice Chairman, IEEE TEMS Society, Secretary in IEEE EMC society, Treasurer, IEEE COMSOC Madras Chapter & Ex-com Member of IETE Chennai Center. He has got 13 Years of experience in Teaching field. He is also serving as member of editorial team of IEEE MAS Link (IEEE Madras section Newsletter) & IETE CHENLINK (IETE Chennai Centre Newsletter). He received IEEE Outstanding Student Branch Counselor and Branch Chapter Advisor Award from IEEE MGA for the year 2019. He also received best student branch counselor award for the year 2015,16,17,18,19 & 20 from IEEE Madras Section. He has authored and co-authored more than 50 papers in refereed international conference & Journals. He has organized and coordinated several Conferences, Workshops & Seminar programme.
Mr. Dhammika Marasinghe
Chair, IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka
Dhammika is a Computer Engineering graduate from the University of Peradeniya with over 5 years of industry experience. He currently works as an Associate Technical Lead at Maturify while volunteering at IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka as the Chairperson. He also is a General Council Member of SLASSCOM (Sri Lanka Association of Software and Services Companies) and heads its Capacity Forum. Previously he has worked in 99x, Artechro Technologies and Zone24x7 Inc.
Dhammika is an IEEE member since 2013 and has volunteered in many initiatives like IEEEXtreme, IEEE R10 SYW Congress, IEEE Sections Congress, IEEE SS12 Asia, IEEE Innovation Nation Sri Lanka, and IEEE Sri Lanka Section, IEEE Region 10 Young Professionals Committee, IEEE MGA Student Activities Committee. Dhammika is a VoLT Graduate from Class 2020 and for his contributions; he received the R10 Young Professionals Outstanding Volunteer Award for the Industry Category in 2022.
Other than IEEE, he has worked with multiple organizations like SLASSCOM, EO-GSEA, TRACE, Uva Startup Hub, AIESEC, SL2College, SEMA of Presidential Secretariat, IMCD, HackerRank, GDG Sri Lanka and Dialog Ideamart as a volunteer.
